The Silver 2kW CALIFORNIA heater from our Sunset range combines the best of good looks with effective outdoor heating.
The CALIFORNIA is available for wall-mounting or free-standing using a stand (purchased separately). Its IP65 rating affords it a very high protection from water and allows CALIFORNIA to be mounted outdoors and exposed to rainfall. CALIFORNIA comes with a remote control and can operate at two different power levels, it can also be timer controlled for up to 9 hours. This makes CALIFORNIA ideal for anyone looking for a patio heater that is an easy to control.
The CALIFORNIA can also provide a modern, effective and efficient solution for large, hard to heat, draughty indoor areas such as public halls, reception areas and larger indoor venues where aesthetics are a priority.
The CALIFORNIA comes with an ultra-long life carbon heating lamp which quickly produces an effective powerful heat with a warm and comforting glow, but without the glare and invasive light produced by most quartz halogen heaters available. With its cutting-edge design incorporating a high quality anodised finish, the California takes outdoor heating to another level. Well-suited for both domestic and commercial markets, California is an excellent solution for alfresco restaurants, bars, shops and similar outdoor environments seeking a stylish, effective heating solution for their space.

Please note: in exposed areas with air movement and wind, infrared spread may reduce by 1/3 to 1/2. In these areas we recommend proportionally increasing the number of heaters.

Heater Stand
Make your Herschel Sunset heater portable, by using this purpose-built heater stand. With a telescopic extension to 2.1m this stand will enable you to move your heater to exactly where you want the heat.
Herschel Sunset heaters have a built-in tilt switch which will turn the heater off if it experiences movement through 45° of vertical.
Mounting a Sunset heater on its stand:
Important to note:
- The stand is not intended as a permanent installation;
- Never lower the heater on the extension below 1.8m;
- You must supply your own electrical extensions from a suitable wall socket and plug rated at 13 amps. Any extension leads must be taped or secured to the ground to avoid an accidental tripping hazard;
- The remote control supplied with the heater should be used to control the heater. However, when using the timer function, DO NOT leave the heater on and unattended on long timer periods. Always switch the heater off when unattended;
- Do not use the heater on the stand with any other form of automated switching mechanism.

They are not only very high quality as a product but create an exceptional heat output that feels exactly like sitting in the sun on a warm day.
